I got the job!!!  I start tomorrow! YAY!

I haven’t
been on xanga for a while.  I think I’m
beginning to grow out of it. 

Anyways,
since my cousin’s arrival from Thailand,
I haven’t had any alone time.  I’m not
complaining because it’s actually really nice to have the company, especially
when I’m a bum at home.  She’s my reason
for visiting and revisiting touristy spots in San Francisco and cooking good food at
home. 

Other
than being preoccupied with my cousin, I’ve been really busy with some legal
mumbo-jumbo.  My parents recently had
someone evicted and I am handling all the paper work, from eviction papers, to
writing letters to housing authority (with the help of a lawyer of
course).  Our tenants left EVERYTHING…baby
pictures, beds, TVs, tables, couches…

It’s a
huge headache…and it’s really gross because there’s blood splatter on the
walls, rotten food, animal urine, and used syringes everywhere.

Moving on
to a positive note…I am waiting on a job to get back to me.  It’s likely that I will get it.  So that means I won’t be a bum anymore!!!  YAY!

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) ―
A 17-year-old boy died at an area hospital after being shot Sunday in
Bayview-Hunters Point District, San Francisco police said.

The
shooting occurred in the area of Silver and Revere avenues at about
11:40 a.m. Tauvares Wooten of San Francisco had exited a store in the
area when multiple shots were fired, said Sgt. Steve Mannina.

Wooten ran to a nearby residence and sought help from acquaintances, Mannina said.

Emergency
personnel then arrived in the area and transported Wooten to San
Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Mannina
said the recently implemented Shotspotter system was effective in
helping police respond to the scene of the shooting and locate
evidence.

The system, which was installed in 1.3 square miles
of the Bayview neighborhood, uses sensors to detect gunfire at a range
of one to two miles, according to city officials.

"Shotspotter
worked very well and in this case helped us find the location of the
crime scene and seize physical evidence that we may not have been able
to see without the Shotspotter technology," said Mannina.

No arrests have been made and investigators did not immediately release a suspect description.

I've been sick for about a week, and I haven't set foot outside either...
I usually go shooting with vee or tyson, but they're far away...so my SLR is collecting dust...

I really need to get better, so I can bring out my SLR for some sun...I also really need to get over being self conscious when I'm with my camera...

 I haven't talked about her for awhile...

She's drooling and giving my mom a stare down...she's hoping my mom would give her a piece of pie.
