I’ve been busy.
Finally got a job back in the city. Yay!
And other personal news that I mentioned on pulse, has really happened
Life is good.

I had such a busy May.
I started and finished (kinda, need plants) the Davis apartment’s yard.
Tenant with the massive 200lb dog moved out, so we had to clean the apartment.
The BF graduated from UCB with his PhD!!!
His parents visited from Canada so we showed them around.
I went to my first wedding photography thing with a photographer I’ve admired for several years. It was FUN!
I helped coordinate an old friend’s wedding…it was stressful but it came out surprisingly well for someone that doesn’t have much experience.
Now, it’s JUNE…I’ve been trying to catch up on sleep since May 31…my body is so sore from running around during weddings.
I will post pictures up when I can.
NANA
So, as a weekend project…I decided to remodel…relandscape?…the apartment’s front yard!
One of our tenants has a 200lb dog…she brings it out to pee and poop in the front yard, leaving large amounts of circular yellow patches on our once green lawn…and large amounts of poop…she doesn’t pick that up. So, every other day or so, you can find me walking around the yard with a pooper scooper, poop hunting.
I tried maintaining the pee spots with grass seeds…but that dog can pee! and it seems picky about where it pees…and as for the poop…I don’t know what to say. We wrote a nice letter from management asking her kindly to scoop that poop…but she doesn’t. sigh*
SO, I bought some DIY books on walkways and landscaping…and I’m really excited to get working. I know I will be sore, the job may take longer than a week…but I’m excited to actually feel like I’m “working” again.
I just got back from Home Depot…I bought about 12 bags of gravel…and ordered 220 bricks. The guy that helped me load it into my truck was like…”you’re so tiny, how are you going to do this?!”…
I’m not that tiny. I’m a 5’6 asian…130lbs+…whatever big white guy. I just smiled and thanked him.
I EXCITES!
I will post pictures of the before and after!
Yay.
I used to use my blog to vent and be totally random and uncensored.
It slowly turned into a place were I just post pictures…and now, I don’t really use it.
So, I am going to try to post more pictures up.
Enjoy.

Hello, I’m still alive.
A lot has happened these 2 months.
Brief summary:
3 days before I turned 25, I got laid off. Blessing it was…even though I feel like a failure.
Dec 15 would be the day for some good GREs.
EDD process is long and slow.
College Applications look fun.
It’s 33 degrees in Davis. I’m glad I don’t have to wake up at 5:30 in the morning for work.
…
that’s that for now.
When you’re on vacation, you learn something about yourself…at least I do.
I learned that I didn’t really count the little things in life as gifts.
My “mini hotel” in Vietnam did not have hot water…I hated it, but I still “showered”. It wasn’t even a shower. There was no shower head, it was just a faucet with a bucket and a pail.
You have to pay to go into a public restroom. They charge you for maintenance of the place. I’ve been in some bathrooms with brown stains on the wall…tampons and pads out in the open, wide open.
Crossing the street is like suicide, especially in Vietnam.
Traveling takes me out of my comfort zone…especially in a place where I can hardly speak and understand the language. But, I’m lucky to get a chance to travel.

After years of dreaming of going to Cambodia, I finally went. Mom and I went on a 4 day tour and I wish we stayed there longer…to see more of Cambodia than just the temples (although the temples were amazing!).
Will post more about my trip soon!
