So, as a weekend project...I decided to remodel...relandscape?...the apartment's front yard!

One of our tenants has a 200lb dog...she brings it out to pee and poop in the front yard, leaving large amounts of circular yellow patches on our once green lawn...and large amounts of poop...she doesn't pick that up. So, every other day or so, you can find me walking around the yard with a pooper scooper, poop hunting.

I tried maintaining the pee spots with grass seeds...but that dog can pee!  and it seems picky about where it pees...and as for the poop...I don't know what to say.  We wrote a nice letter from management asking her kindly to scoop that poop...but she doesn't. sigh*

SO, I bought some DIY books on walkways and landscaping...and I'm really excited to get working.  I know I will be sore, the job may take longer than a week...but I'm excited to actually feel like I'm "working" again. 

I just got back from Home Depot...I bought about 12 bags of gravel...and ordered 220 bricks. The guy that helped me load it into my truck was like..."you're so tiny, how are you going to do this?!"...

I'm not that tiny. I'm a 5'6 asian...130lbs+...whatever big white guy. I just smiled and thanked him.

I used to use my blog to vent and be totally random and uncensored. 

It slowly turned into a place were I just post pictures...and now, I don't really use it.

So, I am going to try to post more pictures up.
