  • Your username is cute. :)

It seems like you do environmental/wildlife conservation work? Do you like it? Seriously, it's something that I've always claimed to be my passion (I majored in biology and "thought" that I would be working w/ animals) but due to family situations and what-not, I never got to pursue that kind of work. I always imagined working in the outdoors, wildlife, traveling, etc. and since I let certain things hold me back from my dream job(s) I wonder if a decade or two from now I'll be kicking myself. I hope you're enjoying your work!

As for not liking to talk about your personal life too much on Xanga, I think that's a valid feeling because sometimes you don't know who's out there reading it. I deliberately abstain from talking/blogging about my work and co-workers on Xanga just 'cause I'd hear about employers looking people up on MySpace, Facebook, etc. and people getting fired for writing certain things on their so-called "personal" blog. I tend to write about things that aren't super-personal or private so that it's not a big deal if random people read them.

RYC: It's good if you don't need to bother w/ make-up -- it really takes time to put on and take off (one reason why I'd be too lazy to wear it more than twice/week)! Also, I never wear make-up when going shopping 'cause I know I'll be trying on clothes and I hate carefully pulling the shirts off and on. Plus how annoying is it when you see something you want to buy and whoever tried it on left make-up all over it? And it's the last one in your size?!
